Welcome to Gâteaux Cakes & Pastries, a French-inspired bakery that offers the traditional, done in a non-traditional way! We create unique cakes and pastries that serve as centerpieces and focal points for life's special occasions. Using fresh, quality ingredients, and a dash of Southern flair, our sweet treats are scratch-made and taste as wonderful as they look.
Current hours & Offerings
We are FULLY BOOKED for all orders until Wednesday, June 19th. If you have an order you would like to place following this time frame, please fill out one of our inquiry forms under the menu tab, or call as during our production hours of 10-2 Wednesday-Saturday 828-513-1920. We are delighted to see you at the shop to place or pick-up orders, but no longer have items available for immediate purchase.
Brunch Package
Choice of quiche and either coffee cake or scones and lemon curd to feed 4-6 people for $35 and tax.
Cakes!
We love helping you with your special occasions, so please allow us enough time to make your cake special. During off season (Jan-March, July & August) two weeks is typically ample lead time. During wedding season we may need as much as 4 weeks for shop cakes, and 6 weeks for custom work.
